Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened the Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, marking the luxury brand’s debut in Malaysia. Occupying levels 75 to 114 of the Merdeka 118, the tallest skyscraper in the Asia Pacific, the hotel sets a new standard for elevated luxury hospitality in the region.
The Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur boasts 252 guestrooms and suites, all with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping city views. Each room features premium amenities, including a full bath with a separate rain shower, a walk-in dressing room, and a personal study area.
Blending modern elegance with tradition, the hotel’s interiors draw inspiration from Malay architecture, incorporating perforated brass screens, natural timber accents, and an impressive art collection curated by Artlink, highlighting local and contemporary works.
Dining options include Merdeka Grill, serving sustainable seafood and locally sourced produce; Park Lounge, offering Malaysian favourites; and Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, a unique chocolate-themed bar. Guests can also enjoy a wellness centre on the 99th floor, complete with a yoga studio, infinity pool, and circadian therapy treatments.
Part of the Merdeka 118 precinct, the hotel is surrounded by historical landmarks such as Stadium Merdeka and the Merdeka Textile Museum, further enriching its cultural and historical appeal.
