Asia center for tourism got launched to enhance the tourism industry

DHS Hospitality Academy Sdn. Bhd. in collaboration with Speed Training Sdn. Bhd and I Portal live launched the ASIA CENTER FOR TOURISM (ACT) on September 30, 2021. ACT is the brainchild of Dr. Sri Kumar Sivakumaran the Founder of DHS and was mooted in 2016 to the President of AEU. 

The Center became a reality by the partnership with I Portal and AEU through SPEED Training Sdn. Bhd. The ASIAN Center for Tourism is a Center of excellence to nurture talent, enhance the employees' knowledge, and create an avenue to share experience for Tourism personnel from various sectors within the industry. 

The Center would be offering 40 Skills Certification programs, 25 Certificates of Completion programs pertaining to the Hospitality Industry, three Diplomas programs, and a Post Graduate Diploma program, and an MBA in Tourism Management.

The Center would offer 66 Certificates in Tourism programs pertaining to various tourism types and would focus on the areas where Youths and Tourism Personnel would network and share ideas.

The Centre would also focus on Tech Tourism, Startups, and accelerator programs for the Tourism Industry.  Asia would be the destination of interest for many and it is time for this center to be developed to provide opportunities for sharing ideas and creating collaborative arrangements.

The Center is also affiliated with South Asia Tourism Federation and with the World Tourism Network. The Malaysian Tourism Council is the strategic partner for the Center who would help spearhead the Center as the Center of excellence for tourism in Malaysia.

The Center through DHS is offering programs offered by E Cornell through DHS partnership with Genashtim who is the representative of E Cornell programs for senior managers. The Center would be the Center for Excellence for ASIAN Tourism in providing an opportunity for Youths and Industry practitioners to seek CARRER and CARRER advancement.
