In a bold move to deepen ties with the Indian travel trade, the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has unveiled its next-generation roadshow format across two Indian cities—New Delhi and Kochi. The innovative B2B showcase featured over 60 tourism stakeholders from Singapore, offering immersive experience zones and interactive presentations aimed at reimagining the way travel trade engagement is conducted.
In New Delhi, the highlight was a first-of-its-kind “Experience Zone” where major Singapore partners—including Changi Airport Group, attractions, cruise lines, and Sentosa exhibitors—offered live activations and direct engagement opportunities for Indian agents. The “island within the zone” created by Sentosa Development Corporation, in collaboration with seven top exhibitors such as Mount Faber Leisure Group, Skyline Luge Sentosa, Mega Adventure, and Resorts World Sentosa, delivered an unforgettable glimpse into the island’s evolving appeal.
STB also introduced the Singapore DMC Trade Partner Fam Support Scheme, a pilot program launching on 1 August 2025. The initiative allows Singapore-based Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to host personalized familiarization trips for Indian travel agents, aimed at enabling more tailored itinerary development for Indian travellers.
In the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) space, the STB announced exclusive perks under the “Just Between Us Friends” campaign for Indian incentive groups confirmed between 1 August 2025 and 31 March 2026. The campaign promises tailored benefits across Sentosa and its nine tourism partners, city-wide rewards, and flight advantages in partnership with IndiGo and Singapore Airlines.
With Indian arrivals surpassing 500,000 in the first half of 2025 and major incentive programs such as Sun Pharma’s 6,100-delegate event and CREDAI Natcon’s inaugural Singapore edition on the horizon, STB’s latest roadshow underscores a renewed commitment to its fastest-growing source market. As Singapore and India commemorate 60 years of diplomatic relations, these initiatives highlight a shared vision of future-forward travel and business tourism cooperation.
