DNeX lends digital tech expertise in a smart city, tourism webinars

KUALA LUMPUR :

A webinar series on digital technology for the development of intelligent cities and tourism will be held in Malaysia by Dagang NeXchange Bhd (DNeX) through its subsidiary companies Genaxis Group Sdn Bhd and IAC Consulting Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, it said that webinars are scheduled for 26 and 28 October 2020 for urban managers, town planners, IT innovators, urban management, and the tourism industry.

“These webinars are part of efforts to encourage the use of digital technology and innovation to improve the quality of life, promote economic growth, as well as develop a sustainable and safe environment for the public,” DNeX said. 

The subject Genaxis will focus on Smart Tourism projects entitled "Smart Tourism on the Cloud," targeted at tourism players and IT and digital experts, on the 26th of October.

During the other webinar on Oct 28, the workshop will concentrate on the problems and challenges of the implementation and vision of cities of the future, namely "Smart City: Cities of Building for Today and Tomorrow."

“In both webinars, urban managers, town planners and representatives from ministries, local authorities and the IT industry are invited to listen to speakers from such organizations as the Iskandar Regional Development Authority and Hewlett Packard Enterprise who will talk about their experience in implementing smart city initiatives,” it said.
