SARAWAK:

In preparation for the reopening of the tourism sector, Sarawak's Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (MTAC) will guarantee that all state tourism industry stakeholders obtain the Covid-19 vaccine in phases as soon as possible.

Since the establishment of the vaccination centre (PPV) for the tourism industry on June 24 at the Association Of Churches in Jalan Stampin, its minister, Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, said there has been a promising response to the vaccine effort.

“Although the current limit is only 2,000 doses, we will make every effort to guarantee that the remainder of the population receives the vaccine as quickly as feasible.
