 Wet World Shah Alam, Malaysia’s first Green Water Theme Park, holds onto its promise and has now officially reopen to the public on 9 October 2021. After being closed for many months during the MCO, Wet World Shah Alam is now back .


It’s time to have fun swirling and twirling in the Super Hurricane slides and feel the wind against your face as you slide down the Caribbean Rider. Get your adrenaline rushed as you are being launched upwards by the force of water on the Monsoon Buster, Malaysia’s first longest water coaster, and see the lights of the moons and stars as you take this high-speed exhilarating water slide. Climb up the tower and go for a Whirlwind Escape or chill out at the Island of Treasures.  Make your way to the Pirate’s Cove and if you dare enough, take the Pirate’s Challenge! For little kiddies, there are Typhoon Lagoon, Bermuda Triangle and many more areas for kids to have fun. 

Dennis Lim, General Manager of Wet World Water Park Shah Alam, said, “We are excited that the government has moved Selangor to Phase 3, as so many fans have written to us that they are eagerly waiting for Wet World Shah Alam to be open again. We are happy to announce that in conjunction with Prophet Muhammad’s birthday, we will open from 10am to 6pm from Saturday 16th October to Tuesday 19th October 2021 and thereafter we open every Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. All our staff are fully vaccinated and they have been busy preparing our park for reopening, enhancing experience, making sure cleanliness, hygiene and safety as our main priority. Now we are ready to welcome guests of all ages and walks of life to have a wetter and wilder fun splash in Wet World Shah Alam.”

“We follow strictly the National Security Council mandatory requirement, therefore guests are required to show their Covid-19 digital certificate with “Fully Vaccinated” status in the MySejahtera app and be subject to temperature screening before admission.  Guests are required to wear face masks when they are not in the water, maintain social distancing and sanitize their hands frequently. Safety SOP notices will be displayed within the theme park to remind guest to comply to the SOP at all times,” said Dennis.

Guests can experience all ten themed zones at Wet World Shah Alam, while enjoying a selection of meals and snacks from the food kiosks.  Cabanas are also available for rental with options of a cooler and safe deposit box so that guests can enjoy the water activities with peace of mind and to rest in between meal time. There is also a function area suitable to host birthday parties, school groups, family day, corporate team building and other private events.
