Because there are so many attractions and natural wonders in Perak that have yet to be discovered, it is referred to as the hidden gem. DHS Hospitality Academy and GENIUSBRAIN WORLDWIDE SDN. BHD. formed a cooperation with Visit Perak Year 2024 to provide a youth development programme for youngsters in Perak to participate in a six-month paid attachment training programme in Singapore.

The program is for a period of seven months in which the participants would undergo one-month of theory in Ipoh and six months paid attachment in Singapore. During the attachment, the participants would be provided with accommodation, duty meals, and Insurance during their attachment and after their attachment. The approval of the attachment is from the Ministry of Manpower Singapore. The program certification is from USAINS HOLDINGS the subsidiary of University Sains Malaysia. The program offered is called the Singapore Attachment Program which allows the participants to build confidence and gain experience in the Hospitality & Food Service Industry in Singapore. This program will allow the participants to help create value to the Tourism Industry in Perak by sharing their knowledge and uplifting the service standards. Service delivery has been a paramount issue for the hospitality industry due to lack of training and retraining. The program would also assist the industry to assist the constant changing expectations of customers and assist in Skilled labour shortage and staff turnover. The hospitality sector has had several difficulties recently and as a result, they face a number of issues relating to trends and meeting up with clients’ expectations due to challenges faced to employ and attract local talent into the industry. The Singapore Attachment Program is offering partial sponsorship and is designed to create a conducive training approach for youths towards the Hospitality Industry.
